Moose Racing Wild Boar: ATV Race Report
Neal Takes Sunshine State Victory at Hog Waller

PALATKA, Fla. (March 2, 2025) – The second round of the 2025 Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC Racing) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, kicked off in Palatka, Florida with the Moose Racing Wild Boar where sunny and warm conditions filled the atmosphere.

As the afternoon race started and the XC1 Pro racers took off from the front row, it would be Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Brycen Neal grabbing the $250 XC1 ATV Holeshot Award to start his day as the class headed into the woods. HHR/Fly Racing/QuadTech’s Hunter Hart would hold the early lead as he came through timing and scoring first on the opening lap. However, Neal would put his head down and push forward making the necessary moves into the lead by lap two.

Neal continued to make his way out front, leading the pack for the last three laps of the race and crossing the finish line to earn his first win of the 2025 season with almost a two minute lead.

WFR/Kenda/Fly Racing/BNR’s Walker Fowler would have a good jump off the line and run at the front of the group for the duration of the race. Fowler would hold onto fourth on lap one and make the move into second for the remaining portion of the race. Fowler crossed the line to earn second overall, and he now sits tied in points with Neal.

Working his way up to the last spot on the overall podium was Stewart Boys Racing/GBC/Pierce Performance’s Wyatt Wilkin. After coming through in sixth on the first lap of the race, Wilkin knew he had to put in the work to get to the front and that’s exactly what he did for the remaining laps of the race.

Another rider putting in a hard charge during the race was BNR Motorsports/Fearless/Kenda Tire’s Steven Harrell. As the group came through on the opening lap, Harrell would check in in the eighth place position but would put his head down and push on through the sandy terrain. Harrell would finish the day fourth overall in Florida.

Rounding out the top five overall finishers of the day was Action Off-Road/Kenda/Custom Axis’ Jay Shadron. As the race continued on, Shadron would steadily work his way up through the pack, starting back in ninth and then making his way to seventh and eventually fifth to finish out the day.

Frazier would continue to hold the lead, but as the white flag flew, he would have company from Kenda/KMK/Ryco Electric’s Cody Collier. Frazier would ultimately be unable to hold off Collier, who made the pass and pushed onward.

When the checkered flag flew it was Collier crossing the line first with over a three minute lead on the rest of the field. Noah Lykins would cross the line to finish second overall in the morning race as he took the 250 All-Star (14-17) class win in Florida, while Frazier would round out the top three overall finishers of the day. Hunter would continue to hold the number one spot in the WXC class for the duration of the race, but Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tires’ Jessica Elioff was not giving up as she battled in the second place position with just a couple seconds separating the two front-runners. Hunter would hold off Elioff to take the class win, and Elioff would cross in second. Osborn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing’s Chloe Harper worked her way up from a sixth place start to round out the top three WXC finishers in the Sunshine State.
