Wild weather in the region leading up to the Alabama event created for a gnarly race track, with muddy, slippery terrain characterizing the Talladega course layout. For Tino it was a game of patience and learning as the race went on – building momentum throughout the mid-to-closing stages.

In his first full XC2 250 Pro campaign, equipped with the GASGAS EX 250F, Tino’s progress continues to trend positively, with a fourth-place result marking his best of the year so far. As a result, he sits sixth in the current point-standings.

Jason Tino: “Man, what a gnarly, slick race! I made some major mistakes on the opening lap, getting stuck a couple times and had some crashes, but I started to find the flow and made some good passes by the end of the race. To finish fourth in XC2 and 12th overall is pretty solid for me, so I’m stoked!”

Flatrock Motorclub GASGAS Factory Racing teammate and XC1 Open Pro Class entry Jordan Ashburn sat out the Talladega round, the former GNCC Series Champion still recovering from a fall experienced in the previous round at the Wild Boar GNCC.
