FMF Camp Coker Bullet Women’s Race Report
SOCIETY HILL, S.C. (April 3, 2025) – The women of GNCC showed up and showed out once again at round 4 of the 2025 Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC Racing) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, which marked the series return to racing after two-week break with the FMF Camp Coker Bullet in Society Hill, South Carolina.
When the green flag waved Saturday morning, it was once again JMR/Action Off-Road/GBC/Moose Racing’s Katelyn Osburn grabbing the $100 BNR Motorsports WXC Holeshot Award for the third time this season.
However, her lead wouldn’t last long as WXC newcomer Avery Collins, aboard her BNR/Kenda/Lonestar machine, took over the lead. Collins would continue to lead the class for the first three laps of the race, but Osburn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing’s Chloe Harper would end up challenging Collins for the lead on the last lap.
Harper, who had battled her way up from fourth, was able to take the lead and grab her second win of the 2025 season, while Collins would grab her first ever WXC podium finishing just 2 seconds behind Harper. Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tires’ Jessica Elioff would round out the podium for the race.
In the Women ATV class, Courtny Crump would grab her first win of the season in the South Carolina sun, finishing over a minute ahead of her competitors.
Nicole Wilhelm would grab her second win of the season in the Women 25+ class, after leading the entire race. In the Women C class, Aubree Louderback would grab her second win of the season.
As Sunday morning arrived and the 10 A.M. race kicked off, it was AmPro Yamaha’s Danielle McDonald, grabbing her first $100 Landers KTM WXC Holeshot Award as the WXC class took off.
Despite grabbing the holeshot, McDonald would drop back to the fifth position as FMF KTM Factory Racing Lander’s Brandy Richards took over the lead for the first two laps of the race. Unfortunately, during the third lap of the race, Richards would sustain injuries in a fall that took her out for the rest of the race.
Rocky Mountain Red Bear Team Green Kawasaki’s Rachael Archer, who had fought her way up from third, took over the lead as the white flag flew. However, her time in the lead was short lived, as Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna Racing’s Korie Steede quickly made her move on the last lap to grab her first win of the 2025 season.
Steede finished just seven seconds ahead of Archer, who took second on the day. After grabbing the holeshot, McDonald battled all day, bouncing between positions, but ultimately secured her first-ever WXC podium finish with a third place result.
In the Women class, Lilley Sheets would grab her first win of the season after leading the entire race.
Jamie Brown would battle her way up from fourth to grab her first win of the season in the Women 30+ class. In the Women C class, Kate Ansley would grab her second win of the season.
In the Youth ATV race, Lakah Carr would grab her first win of the season in the Schoolgirl class after battling up from third. Emma Edwards claimed her third win of the season in the Girls Sr. class after working her way up from sixth place on the first lap. In the Girls Jr. class, it would be Lydia Arnold grabbing her second win of the season.
Sahara Robinson claimed her second win of the season in the Girls Super Mini Class in the Youth Bike race. With her victory, she tied for the points lead in the class with Jayden Shea, who finished second at Camp Coker.
In the Girls 85 class, Vaida Lavergne led the entire race to secure her second win of the season. Meanwhile, Aubrey Tsakanikas continued her perfect season, picking up her fourth win in the Girls 65 class.
In the ATV Micro race, Audrey Petrilla took the overall for the second time in the 2025 season.
With every lap and every race, the women and girls of GNCC continued to make the 50th year of GNCC one of the most exciting yet. After just a one week break, the GNCC Racing Series will head to Tennessee for the Specialized Old Gray GNCC in Monterey, Tennessee at The Old Gray entertainment venue on April 11-13.
