The Specialized Old Gray Women’s Race Report
MONTEREY, Tenn. (April 16, 2025) –The Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC Racing) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, continued its 2025 season this past weekend with Round 5, The Specialized Old Gray, in Monterey, Tennessee. In addition to the Women’s ATV and motorcycle racing, this round also marked the start of the Specialized Turbo eMTB racing season.
When the ATV AM race started, Osburn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing’s Chloe Harper grabbed the $100 BNR Motorsports WXC Holeshot Award. Harper would continue to lead for the rest of the way and end up winning with almost a minute gap over the rest of her competition.
Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tires’ Jessica Elioff would ride a pretty consistent race, coming through third on the first lap, then proceeding to take and hold second for the rest of the race.
Hannah Hunter, on her Osburn Off-Road/Fearless/Kenda-backed machine, battled the whole race. Dropping as far back as fifth on the third lap, Hunter would eventually finish third on the day to round out the WXC podium.

As the green flag waved on a beautiful Sunday morning, Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna Racing’s Korie Steede grabbed herself the $100 Landers KTM WXC Holeshot Award. As the women came through on the first lap, it would be Steede ahead of Phoenix Racing Honda’s Tayla Jones and Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green’s Rachael Archer.
As the race progressed, Steede and Jones pulled away from Archer and stayed close together until the end of the race. Steede would hold on to her lead, finishing just six seconds ahead of Jones to grab her second win of the 2025 season.
Jones would take second in the race, and Archer would round out the WXC class in third.
Lilley Sheets would go back-to-back, grabbing her second win of the season in the Women’s class. In the Women 30+ class, Kym Schifino would take her first win of the season. In the Women's C class, Madison Harmon would win her first race back from an injury.
